Chiropractic Care
Chiropractic is a healing discipline firmly grounded in science that is concerned with the care of the entire body. Chiropractors use various diagnostic methods, including x-rays, paying particular attention to your spine and bone structure. Spinal manipulation and other manual adjustments are their primary methods of helping your body heal. As well as advice about self help, exercise and diet an lifestyle, chiropractors often provide support for pain management, sports injuries and active rehabilitation.
Pro Sport Rehab has experienced, independent Chiropractors that are available. Pro Sport Rehab has always believed that Chiropractic Care is an integral part of providing care for our patients.
Massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing those tissues and consists of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and/or causing movement of or to the body.

Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an ancient form of Chinese medicine involving the insertion of solid acupuncture needles into the skin at specific points on the body to achieve a therapeutic effect. No drug is injected. The needles alone create the beneficial effects of acupuncture.
Acupuncture is used to encourage natural healing, improve mood and energy, reduce or relieve pain and improve function of affected areas of the body. It is safe and effective and is often successfully used as an alternative to medications or even surgery. Relief is often obtained with acupuncture when traditional medical therapy has failed.

Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy
Pro Sport Rehab & Fitness offers Extracorporeal Shockwave Therapy (ESWT). ESWT is a new technology that transmits single-impulse sound waves to the target tissue. Our professionals primarily use ESWT to treat the following:
- Plantar Fascitis
- Tendonitis (rotator cuff tendons)
- Achilles Tendonitis
- Trigger points
- Iliotibial Band pain
- Epicondylitis (tennis and golfer’s elbow)

Pelvic Health
Pelvic Health concerns are far too common and rarely talked about. Many men and women suffer silently, without realizing that there are effective, evidence-based treatment solutions.
Urinary incontinence is an important health issue that has traditionally not been well managed. One in four women and one in nine men are affected by urinary incontinence. Ongoing research into core dynamics recognizes the pelvic floor as an important component of core retraining.
Specialized Physiotherapy is becoming more established as a first-line of defense against incontinence and Pelvic Pain. Physiotherapists need to go beyond teaching externally driven Kegels in order to effectively rehabilitate the pelvic floor. Tone of these muscles needs to be addressed through palpatory assessment of the pelvic floor.
Discuss further treatment options with your care provider or contact our clinic to arrange an appointment with one of our pelvic floor physical therapists.
