Blaine Whyte

Blaine Whyte is one of the founders of Pro Sport Rehab and Fitness that began in 1998. Blaine has a degree in Physical Education from the University of Saskatchewan, he is a Certified Athletic Therapist, and a Certified Exercised Physiologist.

Prior to opening Pro Sport Blaine had an active background in the sport scene around Saskatoon. He worked as a hockey trainer for the U of S Huskies for four years while attending university and then went on to work as the trainer for the Saskatoon Blades for seven years. He was also able to work for Hockey Canada at the Spengler Cup and World Junior Hockey Championship in Finland in 1998.

Blaine is past president of the Saskatchewan Athletic Therapists Association and was the director of Medical Services for the World Junior Hockey Championship held in Saskatoon in 2010.

Blaine still works with the Saskatoon Blades and is their strength and conditioning coach. He also heads the Pro Sport Hockey Training and enjoys training hockey players of all ages during the off-season.

  • Leader of Pro Sport Rehab & Fitness summer hockey training programs for junior, semi-pro and pro players
  • Past President of Athletic Therapists of Saskatchewan
