Alex Murphy

Alex Murphy (MPT, BSc. Kin., FRCms, CSEP-CPT) has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a Masters in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan. Alex is also certified with the Saskatchewan Spine Pathway.


In addition to a physical therapist, Alex is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology, a Functional Range Conditioning Mobility Specialist and a Stone Mason.


Alex has a wide range of knowledge and experience with sports. She grew up playing hockey for 11 years in addition to snowboarding, basketball, softball, wall-climbing, mountain-climbing, mountain biking, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing and hunting. Recently, Alex has started to learn Muay Thai.


In addition to sports, Alex enjoys spending her free time staying updated on the most recent research in the areas of prehab, rehab and training. Alex spends much of her free time in local gyms gaining personal experience in these areas, in addition to trailing various strength training, mobility and/or powerlifting style programs.


Above all else, Alex enjoys meeting new people and helping others.
